Reinhard von Lohengramm

Born in the year 776 UC, into a poor yet aristocratic family. Originally, his last name was von Müsel, but when he was 20, he became a full admiral in the Galactic Empire’s military and was awarded the name of von Lohengramm. A brilliant military tactician and savvy politician with tremendous personal charisma.

Siegfried Kircheis

An Imperial marshal. The best friend to Reinhard, he was constantly referred to as Reinhard’s “shadow.” He and Reinhard became quick friends during their childhood and rose through the ranks of the Empire’s military together.

Annerose von Grünewald

Reinhard’s older sister, more like a mother to him due to their mother’s early death. After she was seen on the street by the kaiser who was struck by her beauty, her father sold her to him.

Oskar von Reuenthal

Known for his heterochromatic eyes, he was a top commander for the Goldenlowe Dynasty and one of its “Bright Jewels”. He was also a womanizer due to his mother’s attempt on his life when he was a child.

Wolfgang Mittermeyer

The other “Bright Jewel” of the Goldenlowe Dynasty. One of the best commanders, earning the nickname “Sturm Wolf” for his blitzkrieg like assaults. Even though he is one of the Bright Jewels, he is very different from Oskar: a kind, family man with a strong sense of morality.

Adalbert Von Fahrenheit

A high admiral in the Goldenlowe Dynasty, he came from a poor noble background and rose through the ranks in the Imperial forces. He sided against Reinhard during the Lippstadt War but surrendered and was eventually recruited to be a Vice Admiral under Reinhard.

Paul von Oberstein

A cold and calculating man with artificial eyes. He was one of Reinhard’s most trusted advisors and was instrumental in his rise to power. He had aspirations of destroying the Goldenbaum Dynasty as well, but realized that he lacked the charisma necessary to be a leader.

Hans Eduard Bergengrün

An Imperial military officer for the Galactic Empire who served under Kircheis until his death. Later, he served under Oskar von Reuenthal.

Hildegard (Hilda) von Mariendorf

A key contributor in gathering support for Reinhard’s ambitions to overthrow the Goldenbaum Dynasty. A child of the nobility, but she was more interested in politics and the military rather than traditional pleasures of noble girls.

Ernest Mecklinger

A scholar of the arts and history and a highly intellectual member of the military. He was a high admiral serving under Reinhard before, during and after the Lippstadt War.

Neidhart Müller

He served an important role as envoy for Reinhard and was eventually awarded the first ship manufactured by the New Galactic Empire.

Yang Wen-li

An idealistic man with little ambition, yet he was one of the greatest generals in history. The counterpart to Reinhard, he was a brilliant strategist and a firm believer in democracy. He had a great amount of respect for Reinhard even though they were always at odds.

Dusty Attenborough

The youngest admiral in the history of the Free Planets Alliance and a close friend of Yang. He originally wanted to be a journalist but his father demanded he join the military.

Olivier Poplin

Claiming a total of 253 kills to his name, he was one of the best Spartanian wing commanders in the Free Planets Star Fleet. Fond of the ladies and liquor.

Ivan Konev

A calm and rational squadron leader, Konev was an adept Spartanian fighter pilot who was the opposite of Poplin, his close friend. A lover of crosswords, he constantly did them in his down time.

Jessica Edwards

Originally a music teacher, she became a peace activist and politician in the Free Planets Alliance.

Julian Mintz

The adopted ward of Yang Wen-li, he was considered Yang’s protégé. In the Free Planets Alliance, he was a Spartanian pilot who experienced his first battle during a training exercise.

Job Trunicht

A politician in the Free Planets Alliance, he was quite corrupt, but had an uncanny ability to survive both political and military crises.

Alex Cazerne

A master of logistics and was always able to ensure troops were well supplied. He was a vice admiral in the Free Planets Alliance.

Walter von Schönkopf

Leader of the Rosen Ritters, he was a vital commander for the Free Planets Alliance. Originally from the Galactic Empire, his family emigrated to the FPA when he was around six years old.

Frederica Greenhill

A Lt. Commander in the Free Planets Alliance, an adjutant to Yang, and also known to have a perfect memory.

Murai

A Vice Admiral in the Free Planets Alliance, he was aware of his age compared to the other officers and believed that the older officers should step down so that the younger ones could take over from them.

Edwin Fischer

Vice admiral in the Free Planets Alliance whose flagship was the Shiva. His legendary fleet maneuvers were heavily relied upon by Yang.

Fyodor Patrichev

A commodore in the Free Planets Alliance military in the 13th Fleet.

Alexandre Bewcock

One of the most experienced fleet commanders in the universe with more than four decades in the military under his belt. A friend and mentor to Yang Wen-li.

Katerose (Karin) von Kreutzer

A Spartanian pilot who served under Yang Wen-li. Her father, Walter von Schönkopf, was unaware of her existence. Beautiful, but quick tempered.

Willibald Joachim von Merkatz

A former high admiral of the Galactic Empire, he defected to the Alliance after the Lippstadt War. A lifetime soldier loyal to the Goldenbaum Dynasty due to a strong sense of duty.
